We are excited to share with you our plans to celebrate end of term on Thursday 20thJuly.

We will be holding a picnic on the school field in which Parents and Carers can join us.

The side gates will be opened at 2pm for parents/carers to enter and you will be able to take your child home after the event. You are welcome to bring your own picnic blankets, food and drinks but please remember NO NUTS, no alcoholic drinks, and no smoking/vaping on site.

Please do not worry if you cannot make this event, we will still ensure the kids have a great time and will have a picnic provided by us with the school staff and their friends.

School lunchtime will still be as normal on this day.

We will also be having non uniform on this day.

We hope you join us in this exciting day to celebrate the children’s successes throughout this school year.

  • Enterprise Day

    Thu 13 Jul 2023

Today Year 6 held their Enterprise Day. After weeks of planning, studying, and preparing, they showed us what excellent business children they are - they sold sweets, cakes, smoothies and even had a car wash company! Plus the highlight of the day was the Summer Splash!

The profits were INCREDIBLE - to the sum of £216! And to top it all off, they decided to use their profits to treat themselves to a bowling trip with enough money left over for an individual surprise at tomorrows Prom.

It's amazing what these entrepreneurs have accomplished!

  • Young Voices at the O2 Arena

    Thu 13 Jul 2023

For pupils in Hawthorn, Juniper and Oak (from September):

We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to your child for a remarkable musical experience called Young Voices, held at the prestigious O2 Arena.

Young Voices is a nationwide initiative that brings together thousands of young singers from schools all over the country to form a magnificent choir. It is an event that celebrates the power of music and gives our students the opportunity to be a part of something truly extraordinary.

The event will take place on 19th January 2024 at the O2 Arena, where our students will join voices with their peers to create a magical musical performance. Not only will they get to showcase their talents but they will also have the chance to experience the thrill of performing in front of a large audience.

To ensure the success of this event, it is important that your child commits to attending the rehearsals leading up to the performance. These rehearsals will provide valuable opportunities for our students to fine-tune their singing skills, learn new songs and build strong bonds with their fellow choir members.

We are pleased to inform you that participation in Young Voices is free for the children. Parents will have the opportunity to purchase tickets should they wish to attend this spectacular performance. Additionally, there will be Young Voices T-shirts available for purchase, which can serve as a wonderful memento of this memorable experience.

We kindly request your support in encouraging your child to take part in this incredible musical journey. By being a member of the Young Voices choir, they will not only develop their musical abilities but also gain valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline and self-confidence.

If your child is interested in joining Young Voices, please complete and return the permission slip by the 17thJuly 2023. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your continued support in nurturing your child's artistic talents. We look forward to creating lasting memories through Young Voices.
