Meal price increase
Wed 19 Jul 2023Please be advised that from Monday 4th September 2023 there will be a price increase to the cost of the main school meal. The current price is £2.45 for a main meal and a dessert. This will increase to £2.50. We appreciate that the school implemented a price rise in April 2023 and had hoped this be sufficient but sadly we continue to experience pressure on the cost of wholesale food and regrettably we have had to increase our prices for 2023/24.
It should be noted that a school meal still provides excellent value for money. Our prices remain amongst the lowest when compared with other local primary schools and we continue to work closely with our internal catering teams. They continue to offer an exciting and varied range of meals, snacks and drinks which are both healthy and nutritious.
We ask for your understanding with these price increases and fully appreciate that times are tough.
