  Rockin' the digits! Today wasn't just about crunching numbers; it was about making them count for a cause! We dressed up as Rock Stars and rocked out Number Day to the max, helping raise funds for the NSPCC.

Children will be able to get their FREE World Book Day book or they can use their book token as a £1 discount towards another tale to treasure.   These Superstar Readers have been diving into adventures, unraveling mysteries, and soaring through the skies on the wings of words! To celebrate their passion for pages, each one has earned a magical token to our wonder-filled book vending machine!

• Forest School News

  Aspen and Willow class engaged with some Forest School Science on the campfire on Wednesday afternoon.

   

  The children watched as the solid chocolate melted (changing state). They were ready and waiting with their yummy marshmallows on skewers, which they dipped and twirled In the warm, melted chocolate and enjoyed eating them in basecamp.

   

  We also reminded ourselves of our fraction maths lesson by sharing a biscuit in half, and spreading some of the melted chocolate on top.

   

  It was interesting to watch the chocolate change back to a solid once it begun to cool down. The wooden spoon was stuck in the set chocolate.

   

  There was lots of scientific vocabulary flying around basecamp!

  

• Number Day 2024

  This year to celebrate National Number Day, we will be having a 'Dress as a TT Rockstar' day in exchange for a small donation to NSPCC on Friday 2nd Feb.

   

  Please ensure your child has suitable footwear along with their costume. No flipflops, sandals or heels.

  

• O2 Young Voices 2024

  Our very own Sunny Bank singing superstars took London by storm at the O2 Young Voices concert!

   

  United with schools nationwide and celebs, voices soared, hearts swelled with pride, and the melody of enthusiasm echoed through the O2 Arena. After a day of dedicated rehearsals, our little superstars lit up the night, singing their hearts out in front of a sea of proud parents!
