  • Anti-bullying week / Children in Need

    Mon 15 Nov 2021

After a very successful Maths Week last week, today marks the start of our Anti-Bullying Week here at Sunny Bank. This is an incredibly important week, which will teach the children the difference between bullying and being unkind. This year’s theme is ‘One Kind Word’.

Throughout this week, each class will partake in a range of activities chosen by their class teacher. All children will have a kindness bingo card, where they will need to show acts of kindness throughout the week. As well as this, every child will be making a heart with a kind word written in the middle, which will form our new display in the school hall.

Finally, on Friday it is Children in Need day. The theme this year is ‘Together, we can’ which will be a fantastic end to our Anti-Bullying Week. This is such an important charity to support so we would like to ask you to come dressed in Children in Need theme clothing or wearing some crazy socks for a small donation.

There is also a Coffee morning for parents - please see below.

We look forward to another brilliant week and cannot wait to see the learning the children will be doing.
