  Dear Parents and Carers,

  This year we will be sending our Sunny Bank newsletter out twice termly.  I must, however celebrate our attendance this week.

   

  We ended this week on 95.4% attendance which is a fantastic improvement on last year’s attendance. Please see the weekly breakdown below.

   

  Monday 96%

  Tuesday 98%

  Wednesday 94%

  Thursday 97%

  Friday 97%

   

  This means that the majority of our children are attending school, more often and are learning more and will have the best of opportunities in life.

   

  I want to say a great big well done and thankyou to our children and also to parents and carers for supporting the school and working hard to secure the best future for our children.

   

  We are so close to achieving our target of 96% this year. I know we can do this.

• God Bless our Queen

  Following the passing of Her Majesty the Queen, our thoughts are with the royal family at this very sad time. 

  She was a national treasure, ambassador, role model and an enduring servant of us all: devoted, constant, dignified, loyal and loved. 70 years, 15 Prime Ministers and just one Queen, our Queen.

• Breakfast Club and After School Clubs

  Thu 01 Sep 2022

  Breakfast Club and After School Clubs will be starting back on Monday 5th as usual. If your child does NOT normally attend these clubs but would like to start, please let us know and attend the office to complete the relevant forms so we can ensure we have spaces. Entrance and Dismissal for these clubs will be from the front main office gate.

   

  

• School Dinners

  UPDATE - School Dinners:
  There is a new app that we will be using from Monday for school dinner payments/trip payments. We will be sending out info on how to sign up to our new Arbor parent portal next week, so please keep a look out for this. Please do not try to log on until you receive this. In the meantime until you are up and running on the app for payments - can you please pay in cash into the office for your child's school dinner. Just a reminder that school dinners cost £2.30 per day, £11.50 for the week and is to be paid in advance. 
  
  Further information regarding children starting back on Monday 5th will also follow soon.
