Acorn's First Trip to the Library!
Wed 21 Feb 2024Today was a special day for Acorn as they had their first trip to our Library! We've created a special section just for Early Years children so they can share books with parents (and siblings, aunts, uncles and grandparents!) and swap them for new ones - no quizzes, just pure enjoyment!

Forest School latest
Thu 08 Feb 2024On Friday Morning, Birch Class embarked on lot's of Number Day fun in the Forest School basecamp. The base camp circle was full of rock stars ready and waiting to explore!
There was a stick number hunt challenge, nature 3 in a row game boards, with pebbles and pine cones as counters, number tree bark rubbings, pebble number puzzles to name but a few!
The most popular maths activity was measuring wiggly worms using our newly purchased wooden worm calculator. It was so much fun and the children were very careful not to harm them.
Kind hands all round and the worms were carefully returned to back to their natural habitat.
The children even sang 10 Green Bottles after snack time, counting back wards from 10 as we sang ourselves all the way back to 0.
What a great morning of maths investigations at Forest School to celebrate Number Day 2024!
Great participation as always Birch Class!
