School Meals for Years 3,4,5,6 from September

As we start the new school academic year, a reminder to parents that the cost of a child's school meal has increased this term to £2.60 per day (£13.00 a week) which is payable in advance for the week ahead (i.e. every Monday) by either Arbor or Credit card in the school office.

Unfortunately, we are still trying to recover debts owed from last term. Our school budget is intended to support children’s learning, and we cannot use it to cover debt owed to the school. It is essential that all payments are up to date so that the quality of the services provided is maintained. Parents can check their own accounts easily within Arbor. I would urge parents to check this before the start of the new term and please settle any outstanding debts that may be owing.

If you believe that you are entitled to benefit related school meals (NOT universal free school meals offered to Years R to 2) then please follow the link below to apply for FSM. A reminder NOT to reapply if you are already entitled as this will roll over to this academic year and will cause duplicates.

Apply for free school meals

Check if your child can get free school meals - and find out how to apply on your local authority’s website.

www.gov.uk

Unfortunately, if a debt reaches £13.00, we may have to halt provision of a school meal for your child and you will have to make your own arrangements by bringing a packed-lunch from home until the debt is cleared.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss any issues or require help relating to the above.
