Dear families,

 

I am delighted to invite you to this term’s Parent Open Afternoon on Thursday 21st May 2026 at 2pm. During the afternoon, we will be focusing on wellbeing and mindfulness, and we warmly welcome you to join your child in a range of interactive activities. This will be a fantastic opportunity to see how pupils are supported in school to develop mindfulness and maintain their wellbeing.

 

Parents will be able to enter the school from 2:00pm until 2:15pm via the side entrance gate, where they will be directed to their children’s classrooms. For families with more than one child in school, we kindly ask that time is split between siblings, beginning with the youngest child’s class first. Teaching Assistants will be available to guide parents to other classrooms as needed.

 

As you are aware, the school office is a very busy area and to support the smooth running of the afternoon, parents will not be admitted after 2:15pm. Thank you for your understanding and support with this.

 

Parents may take their children home from 2:30pm and will be required to sign them out with the class teacher. For any children whose parents are unable to attend, the normal school end-of-day arrangements will apply.

 

I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that the Parent Open Afternoon next term will take place on the final day of term, Wednesday 22nd July 2026. This will be a family picnic on the school field. Further information will be shared nearer the time.
