Mental Health Awareness Week
Last week was Mental Health Awareness Week. The theme this year was ‘Connect with nature.’
At our Forest school sessions we focused on mindfulness in the outdoors and calming ways to connect with nature. The children enjoyed several activities such as, hugging trees, cloud watching and senses walks to name but a few.
Mrs Lougheed asked the children their thoughts and views about how connecting with nature makes them feel. Below are some of their responses.
