Thursday 1st October was our election day for our new School Council representatives. We ran it like a real general election; children had to register to vote to receive their polling card, the previous School Council created a manifesto for each House and those who wanted to be considered had to find 2 people to nominate them. We even borrowed Swale Councils polling booths and ballot box on the day. Not only did the 2 children with the highest votes, in each class, become part of this year's new council but the House with the most representatives, provided the agenda for the year in the form of their manifesto!
