Governance
Our school is part of The Island Learning Trust, and governance is managed wholly and exclusively by The Island Learning Trust Board. This means that we no longer have a local governing body. All strategic decisions, oversight, and accountability for our school sit with the Trust Board, which ensures high standards of education, financial stewardship, and compliance across all its schools.
The Trust Board is responsible for:
- Setting the vision and values for all schools within the Trust.
- Monitoring performance and outcomes.
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Overseeing financial management and resource allocation.
While there is no local governing body, our school leadership team works closely with the Trust to deliver excellent education and maintain strong links with our community.
